30 and beyond

I don’t know what people were fussing about-30 is fantastic! The dozens of friends, great food and drink probably helped it rock a serious amount. So after a little reflection, here is what I have planned for 30:

      • “get” to each room of our house
      • learn a new concerto each year
      • fill my cello studio to where I’m satisfied
      • take 50 beautiful photos a month
      • figure out how I can make iced coffee I like
      • have a baby
      • take a vacation just for Italy and Greece
      • cook one month of meals and never repeat a meal
      • figure out this cardio thing
      • actually paint something
      • knit something useful

There are plenty more, but that will be enough to get me through a few years. To close, here are a few of my favorites from birthday week:

For those of you who don’t know me face-to-face, I am a cello teacher (of the suzuki and other varieties) and host a blog for my studio and other cellists of all walks of life:

2 more days

June 5. Yep.

There are only 2 more days of being “in my twenties.” So let’s show a little list of that decade:

  • graduated college
  • got married
  • lived in asia
  • worked on cruise ships
  • played in musicals
  • visited 27 countries
  • taught thousands of kids
  • opened a business
  • bought a house

I think that decade was pleasantly full. Hopefully before the day I can make a list of goals for my 30’s!
